BABA 2013—Bigger, Better, New Location!
committed to a few changes for 2013. One change is that La Brisa Mexican Grill in League City at the 518 exit will be the new location for our monthly luncheons. We feel that this new venue will provide our builders, associ- ates and guests a better lunch experience and opportunity to network.

I am especially pleased that we increased the number of directors on our board to 19. We have some very talented and well connected folks joining our already outstanding board members. Along with being very productive, we plan to also have a really good time. Come see for yourself.

Galveston counties. The board of directors meets on the first Tuesday of every month followed by an informative luncheon for all area builders and associate members. This luncheon features speakers or panels who bring the latest updates on everything from economic forecasting on lending, forthcom- ing legislative mandates, to Bay Area building code changes.
The board of directors is also dedicated to ex- panding the overall membership in 2013 and increasing the attendance of local builders and remodelers at these monthly meetings and events. Be sure and join us for our next luncheon on Tuesday, February 5; our topic will be, “What the GHBA Does for You.” We'll have several speakers offer their insight on this subject. Again, this meeting will be held at our new location, La Brisa Mexican Grill. Lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. and the program starts at 12 noon. Hope to see you there!
