gelus benefits. The food is always great, whether it be a patty melt or a hamburger or really nice salad. It’s always fresh, always good, and the wait staff is always very cordial and helpful. A few of the offerings at the Green Room

that I’ve experienced in the past include the Big Burger ($9.75)- a true whopper of a meal on a bun. Top-grade ground sirloin, with crisp lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. You can choose a half order of French fries or your choice of a side with the burger. I ordered a cup of fresh fruit that was a little slice of heaven. The Caesar salad with grilled chicken

($11.75) is another winner, and they have a catfish platter with side salad and two side or- ders ($16) that is awesome. I remember get- ting it a year or so ago. Mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli on the side. The item that I ordered this year was so

good that when Scott and I returned the next day to eat, I ordered the same thing again. The Wild Wild West Omelette is made with fluffy eggs and filled with savory ham. bacon. and sausage, along with onions, peppers, tomatoes, and provolone cheese. ($10) This yummy breakfast feast is is served with toast - in my case wheat toast - and grits. Very good stuff. Now, all the other omelets are available at the same price, including The Denver Omelette and of course the Garden Omelette for the non-carnivorous crowd. The food served in The Green Room is very

good, and affordable, whether you’re a high rolling player or just a musician like myself. If hunger strikes, head to The Green Room, anytime, 24 hours a day.
