KISS, The Doobie Brothers, Bad Company, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppe- lin, The Eagles... the list is virtually endless.
Let me ask you when and how you de- veloped your talents. It's really just an inherited gift. Jason has al- ways loved to draw & paint, and he is remark- ably good at both, but above all, it's the art of creating music that has always given him the most satisfaction and creative enjoyment.
enjoyed performing live so much, especially interacting with the fans, that we decided to forge ahead as The Young Brothers.
Lets talk about your earliest experi- ences in recording. How and where did you guys first start recording? Writing original music, provided the neces- sity for recording, so we started experiment- ing with recording our own compositions back around 1987, using a little Tascam porta studio.

How long have you been playing to- gether, and when did you form the band and start playing under the name The Young Brothers? As brothers, we've been playing music to- gether for what seems like forever. As song- writers, having unsuccessfully exhausted every other possible means of pitching and peddling songs, originally, we had only in- tended to put together a performing act under the "T.Y.B." banner in 2008, as a vehicle by which to peddle our original compositions off onto mainstream artists seeking new songs, via live performance. But we found that we
I’ve known you guys for a while now, and what I hear in your music and see in your style is a lot of southern rock and blues. Thats kind of unusual know- ing you live in Philadelphia. Thats quite a few miles north of the Mason Dixon line. Tell me how this happened? It's not really that unusual when you con- sider, that back in the 1970's when we were kids,i t was just indiscriminately classified as, "ROCK & ROLL" much like "Elvis" still is today. Rock & Roll itself, was South. If you re- ally stop & think about it, Bob Seger came from Michigan, Bad Company from England, Steve Miller from Wisconsin, The Doobie Brothers from California, and Lynyrd Skynyrd from Florida. We grew up listening to all of these guys and they all shared that 1970's earthy, rock & roll all!
I know you guys do live
shows.Tell me about some of your most memorable moments in the spotlights and on the road? Truthfully, our fans, whom we have come to regard as extended family, make every per- formance memorable for us, so it's really hard to discriminate and pick just one or two. For us, nothing beats interacting with our fans! We genuinely appreciate every last one
