of them, because it is their support, which makes it possible for us to do what we love & live the dream.

I read a story online about how you guys successfully pitched a song, to one of the worlds most beloved, multi mil- lion selling recording artists, and biggest rock stars of our time. For the benefit of our readers Tell us how you did it. You know I’m talking about your song “Redneck Paradise” and Kid Rock. Yes. Well, having just been laid off from work at the time, which was in 2008, Inspired by the outrageous story of Kris Kristofferson's infamous helicopter landing at Johnny Cash's house, we devised an outrageous plan to get our song, "Redneck Paradise” to Kid Rock. As struggling songwriters in an act of creative desperation, we chose to invest our final pay- checks into seeing it through. We shipped our original composition "Redneck Paradise" off to Kid Rock's (then) manager, Ken Levitan of Vector Management in Nashville, Tennessee, but our chosen method of delivery was deliberately, highly unconventional. Using guitar strings and old Martin guitar tuning keys, we suspended a CD of our song in the center of a 5’ x 5' wooden crate (resembling an old time railroad freight box) that we had built ourselves fastened onto an old, oak pal- let. To explain our boldness with humor, we had stenciled "A BIG SONG NEEDS A BIG CRATE!" on the inside of the crate's lid. We threw it atop of my Jeep Liberty (just before it got repossessed) and delivered it U.P.S. Freight, knowing that it would have to be signed for by a representative of the company (verifying it's arrival),and that unlike com- mon mail, it couldn't be easily discarded without requiring the necessary use of a pallet jack. We were contacted by Kid Rock's (cur- rent) manager, Lee Trink of Daremighty En-

tertainment in the autumn of 2011 via Face- book, and notified that our song "Redneck Paradise" had in fact been picked up, to be co- written onto by Kid Rock and his incredibly talented guitarist, Marlin Young, of the Twisted Brown Trucker band. It was then recorded to become the 12th track on Kid Rock's new Rebel Soul album, which was re- leased on November 19, 2012, debuting at number 5 on Billboard's Top 200 albums chart. The video for Kid Rock's song,"Red- neck Paradise" which will be released as a sin- gle in spring/summer of 2013, was filmed on his third annual "Chillin The Most Cruise" hosted by Sixthman in April of 2012. In fact, Kid Rock and Sixthman got the name for their Norwegian Cruise Lines', Bahama Island des- tination of his annual Chillin’ The Most Cruise, from our song "Redneck Paradise."

Tell me about your new album that you’re working on? Being that we are independent, it has taken

us much longer than we originally antici- pated, but we are quite happy and excited with the outcome so far. We are now about to go into the mastering process, and we're looking incredibly forward to finishing it up and releasing it.

Do you have a release date planned? Yes. Having co-written "Redneck Paradise" with Kid Rock and Marlin Young, we are strategically planning to have our own album's release, coincide with Kid Rock's re- lease of "Redneck Paradise" as a single in spring/summer of 2013 if possible.

Have you signed any contracts with a label or management company yet? I do know that you’ve had offers. Tell me what you can about it We're still doing our homework, treading carefully, and keeping our lines open, so. - no,
