I would like to thank everyone who attended our Annual General Meeting on November 13, 2012. Our preparations for the 2013 show season have already started. Our execu- tive is hard at work keep- ing up our end of the bar-
gain, making sure that EOQHA is “Where Fun Happens”.
There are a lot of great changes planned this year such as our “Going Green”. All patterns will be posted on our Web page prior to each show circuit
& we’ll be saving a ton of paper! As well, we are bringing back the All-In- One fee again for 2013! We had so much great feedback on what EOQHA did for numbers at the June classic and the Summer Sizzler shows last year

(Carberry, MB - January 7, 2013) —- CQHA cordially invites you to attend our 2013 Annual General Meeting to be held in con- junction with the 2013 Equine Canada Annual Convention which will take place in Ottawa between February 6-10, 2013. CQHA is an affiliated breed association within Equine Canada’s Industry Division which will be holding an open Industry Forum on Saturday, Febru- ary 9, from 9 AM to 5 PM in the Richelieu Room immediately prior to the CQHA AGM.
Everyone is invited to our CQHA AGM, there is no fee or pre-registration required to attend our meeting. You do not have to be a CQHA member to attend unless you wish to vote. (However, an EC convention registration fee is required to attend the Equine Canada Industry Forum.)
Canada Annual Convention slated for February 6-10 in Ottawa, Ontario. On-line registration is now open. One registration fee gives you access to a multi- tude of opportunities, including keynote address- es, plenary sessions and clinics, all tailored to address the unique needs of participants involved in equestrian sport, recreation and industry.

Shavings
In an effort to make everyone’s move in as quick and easy as possible, we are once again encour- aging people to pre-book shavings. As an added incentive, you can save $1/bag by booking your shavings ahead of your arrival. Pre-booking also means that your shavings are waiting for you in your stall upon your arrival! What could be easier?

Memberships Membership rates will
remain the same for 2013. The cost for a single mem- bership will be $35, a fami- ly membership $55, youth membership $25 and a life membership will be $170.
**New this year** As an added “thank you” for buy- ing your EOQHA member- ship, we are offering a “Members Only” draw at each circuit. One lucky EOQHA member will have their name drawn for a $50 credit towards your show/stall fees.

Area 3 Promotional Club News Flash 2013!!
Besides the usual CQHA association busi- ness, there will be a pro- posal on the AGM Agenda, recommended by the CQHA Board of Directors, to amend the CQHA Con- stitution and By-Laws as follows: to change the scope of the required annu- al audit process from a complete corporate finan- cial audit to an less formal audit review process. In addition to the CQHA AGM, we encour- age our CQHA members to participate in the 2013 Equine Canada Annual Convention.
