Our support covers all aspects of tendering from outlining the scale of opportunities, where to find them and how to win them. SDP also offers opportunities to meet with the people making the buying decisions.


No matter what your tendering experience, we have support at three different levels to suit your business:

Corporate Procurement


The procurement service provides first point of contact for companies wishing to sell goods and services to the council.


They provide guidance to companies through direct contact and meet the buyer events. Guidance offered covers general advice on purchasing procedures adopted by the council, general advice on tendering procedures and details of business opportunities.


The council’s Online Trading Network allows companies to register their services which council departments can access, which is linked to the Quick Quote service provided by the Scottish Procurement Directorate.
