Development of Property and Sites
The Council’s planning and building standards services provide a statutory function for processing planning permission, listed building consent and building warrant. They will offer advice on the requirement for planning permission and likelihood of success. They will also advise on the requirement to comply with building standards.
The team will explain likely application fees for and timescales of application process, matters likely to arise and potential areas of difficulty or sensitivity will be discussed. Also, the provision of site history investigations through property enquiry process.
