How to Plan and Book Your Polar Adventure
Browse this brochure and our website to get ideas and to see the exciting itineraries available to both the Arctic and Antarctic.
Call us - talk to a polar specialist to discuss your travel plans in more detail. Our experts will make recommendations on voyages based on their personal experience of travel in the polar regions. We can also discuss fl ight details with you, plus any extra hotel arrangements you may wish to make.
We’ll send you a detailed itinerary, and let you know the price for your holiday. We can usually confi rm availability straight away.
If you’re happy with your voyage details, we’ll take a deposit and confi rm your arrangements.
The same polar specialist will be handling your holiday from start to fi nish, so please feel free to call them at any time with questions. Three weeks before departure, we’ll send you all the details you’ll need for your trip of a lifetime.

Payment
Deposit To secure a booking we require a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the tour price. Sometimes, a higher deposit is required but you will be advised about this at the time of booking. If your travel starts within 60 days of booking, full payment will be required at the time of booking.
Travel Insurance If you are purchasing travel insurance from Explore, the full premium must be paid at the time of booking to ensure all cover (including cancellation cover) is valid.
Final Payment A fi nal invoice will be sent to you nine weeks before departure. This must be paid no later than eight weeks before departure.
Cheque, Debit & Credit Cards You can pay the deposit and fi nal invoice by cheque, credit or debit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard. A credit card fee is not payable for the deposit payment and insurance premium. However, a 2% fee is payable if your fi nal invoice is paid by credit or charge card. This fee does not apply if payment is made by debit card.
