This unique voyage explores the extraordinary landscapes and wildlife of the Falkland Islands and Antarctic Peninsula in the company of scientists and photographers. Researchers will be on-board to give you an unprecedented insight into life on two Antarctic stations, and wildlife photographers will conduct outdoor workshops to help you take that picture-perfect shot of a passing albatross, or close-up view of an adorable penguin.


Voyage itinerary


Day 1 Sail down the Beagle Channel. Days 2 to 3 Cross the Drake Passage, passing the time with photography lectures.


Days 4 to 6 Visit Poland’s Arctowski Station; fur and elephant seals, and Adelie, gentoo and chinstrap penguins live alongside the scientists.


Days 7 to 8 Head south across the Antarctic Peninsula.


Days 9 to 10 Dropping anchor at Vernadsky Station, we take to Zodiacs to explore the area’s historic sites and get close to the wildlife. Days 11 to 12 Time to head to the Falkland Islands…


Days 13 to 14 The Falkland Islands are famous as a large breeding site for elephant seals and rockhopper penguins, and you can see the second tallest penguin species here, too - king penguins.


Day 15 Your voyage ends in Stanley, capital of the Falkland Islands.
