We experience many of the country’s natural and cultural highlights including a visit to a traditional Zulu village. We are also able to view some of South Africa’s unique wildlife, from big cats to bottle-nosed dolphins.

Where will we sleep? 3 nights simple bungalow, 5 nights simple tented camp, 2 nights standard lodge, 2 nights standard ‘beehive hut’. What will we eat? 11 breakfasts, 2 lunches and 2 dinners are included.
Swimming: Most of the hotels have swimming pools and we have the opportunity to take a dip in the sea at Kosi Bay and St. Lucia. Transport: 4WD open safari vehicles.

12 day tour itinerary
Days 1 Join tour Johannesburg. Drive to the small town of Graskop enjoying views of the lowveld (low bush). Days 2/3 Kruger wildlife Spend two nights in South Africa’s most famous national park with game drives in search of the ‘Big fi ve’. Days 4/5 Tshukudu Enjoy wildlife tracking at Tshukudu Game Reserve famous for its lion and cheetah rehabilitation centre and breeding projects. Days 6/8 Swaziland Travel to Mlilwane Sanctuary in Swaziland. Experience the culture and traditions of this small kingdom and sleep in traditional beehive huts. Enjoy optional bike rides or walks around the sanctuary.

Days 9/10 Kosi Bay Travel to the Indian Ocean coast and take a boat in search of bottle-nose dolphins. Day 11 St. Lucia Visit a traditional Zulu village and experience Zulu culture and traditions. Travel to St Lucia Wetland Park. Optional boat trip to view hippos and crocodiles. Days 12 Tour ends Durban.
