On this exhilarating family holiday we track Africa’s greatest wildlife, visiting three of Tanzania’s famous safari parks in the search of the “big fi ve”. We walk through coffee plantations and waterfalls on the slopes of Kilimanjaro, we canoe on a crater lake and visit local tribes in their villages. From the mainland we fl y to the exotic ‘Spice Island’ of Zanzibar, where we explore the narrow streets of Stone Town and unwind beside the Indian Ocean.

Day 1 Kilimanjaro. Join tour Moshi. Visit a local Masai village and walk through coffee plantations on the slopes of Kilimanjaro. Day 2 Kilimanjaro. Explore the lush forest in the foothills of Kilimanjaro and take a walk to the Mataruni waterfalls. Day 3. Lake Duluti. Admire the scenery and birdlife whilst canoeing on a crater lake and observe the variety of reptile species at Meserani Snake Park. Days 4 Manyara. Join an optional walk or relax by the pool. Spot wildlife around Lake Manyara on your fi rst game drive. Day 5 Serengeti Drive to Serengeti through the Rift Valley. Visit Olduvai Gorge, one of the most important prehistoric sites in the world, also known as “the Cradle of Mankind”. Spend the afternoon on a game drive on the plains of the most iconic national park in Africa, with its prolifi c wildlife.

Day 6 Serengeti A full day to discover the endless variety of game that inhabit the Serengeti including zebra, lion, leopard, wildebeest, giraffe, rhino, cheetah and hippo. Day 7 Ngorongoro Crater Descend into the world’s largest intact volcanic crater, a dramatic backdrop to more exciting wildlife encounters. Days 8/9 Stone Town. Transfer to Arusha and fl y to Zanzibar. Explore the vibrant old town or take an optional tour to discover the colours, smells and fl avours of the spices produced on the island. Days 10/11 Tropical beaches Relax on the Indian Ocean coast at Nungwi, renowned for its white sandy beaches and turquoise water. Days 12 Tour ends Stone Town
