Evia Adventure and Caique Cruise
Beaches, exploring and relaxing island cruise
Combine our active family tour on Evia with a cruise on a traditional wooden boat around this beautiful Greek Island. We spend a week exploring the bays, villages and history of the island on foot and by bicycle before setting sail to explore more of the island from the sea. We regularly stop off at fi shing villages and harbours to experience the local life and sample the food.
There are also plenty of opportunities to swim and snorkel from the boat.

KARYSTOS 15 day tour itinerary 28 km
Day 1 Tour starts Athens airport. Catch a ferry to Evia and travel to the small coastal town of Karystos. Day 2 Karystos Guided tour of Karystos including the local museum, basilica and waterfront. Visit local beaches and coves for swimming and snorkelling. There is also the option to fi sh in the local harbour. Day 3 Ancient castle Visit the 13th century Castello Rosso, the Roman aqueduct and the local hill villages of Gourna. Enjoy a free afternoon to relax on the beach. Optional sea kayaking. Day 4 Cycling Pedal to the wetlands and search for some of the varied wildlife. Ride to the western beaches and enjoy swimming in the warm waters of the Aegean Sea. Day 5 Free day Enjoy a day relaxing by the pool. There are also options to do more cycling (unaccompanied), take a boat trip out into the bay, or to snorkel or scuba dive. Day 6 Coastal walk Take a gentle walk to the village of Aetos, stopping to swim and relax on the beaches along the way. Day 7 Marmari Bay Enjoy snorkelling in the volcanic coves of Zanstani and visit the sand bar of Megali Ammos. Day 8 Join boat Free morning. Transfer to caique (traditional boat) in harbour. Day 9 Karystos Sail to Bouros Bay, where there is an opportunity to swim

and snorkel from the boat. Return to Karystos.Day 10 Panagia Cruise to Panagia, a small fi shing village, sheltered in a fjord. Visit the nearby church with its 2,500-year-old olive trees and stream full of turtles. Day 11 Eretria Cruise to Eretria via the beautiful, private lagoon at Porto Buffalo. Explore ancient Eretria with its baths, mosaics and the Temple of Dafniforos Apollo. Day 12 Nea Styra Opportunity to swim and snorkel before sailing to Nea Styra with its beautiful coastline and olive valleys. Day 13 Marmari Time in the hamlet of Porto Lafi a, and a chance to swim in the bay. Cruise to the fi shing village of Marmari. Walk along the promenade. Day 14 Petali Islands and Karystos Cruise towards these pretty private islands, a favourite of the Greek rich and famous. Return to Karystos where we overnight in a hotel. Day 15 Ferry to Rafi na and transfer to Athens. Tour ends Athens airport.
