Acquired by partners Sean Lloyd and Jerred Gale in 2009, Lloyd & Gale Construction Services Ltd (formerly Okanagan Caulking and Sealants) has been providing superior specialty construction services to much of British Columbia and Alberta for over 15 years.
Though working mainly in the commercial industrial field of construction, this Okanagan based company has worked on almost every type of project including bridges, mills, hospitals, schools, hydro electric dams, processing plants, high rise residential buildings and everything in between. As one of only two fully accredited applicators in BC for Hilti firestopping products, Lloyd & Gale has worked with many of the major contractors including Graham, Greyback, PCL and Stuart Olson Dominion. At the new Phase 1 expansion of YLW International Airport, the company will be working for Delnor Construction, supplying and installing seismic expansion joints and firestopping to the rated assemblies.
With fifteen full time highly trained, skilled and accredited members on staff, Lloyd & Gale is always on the go. They
have worked on a number of major local projects, such as Vernon Jubilee and Kelowna General Hospitals, Walmart and Real Canadian Superstore, Madison, Waterscapes, the Landmark 6 building, and the Delta Grand Hotel; and that is just in the Kelowna area.
So what sets Lloyd & Gale apart from the competition? “We try to stay in personal contact with our clients” says Gale. “Emails and phone calls can only get you so far. We make sure that we are always following up with our customers, visiting the job sites on a regular basis to see if there is anything that the client needs. We want to create a relationship with our customers, rather than just another piece of paper with a name on it.”
With a fleet of eight service vehicles just in the Kelowna area alone, there is nowhere that Lloyd & Gale won’t go. With several current projects in the Lower Mainland, Northern BC and Alberta the crew is available wherever their services are required. No job is too big or too small. As Gale says, “if it needs to be sealed, insulated or is a specialty application, we will do it.”
