After you’ve explored Osoyoos head up the road 17 km to the town of Oliver. Oliver has been dubbed the Wine Capital of Canada and judging from the number of wineries here, it has definitely earned that title. More than a third of British Columbia’s wines come from this area. A designated driver is highly recommended for this part of your visit.
Oliver gets over 2,000 hours of annual sunshine and is home to over 400 farms and 102 vineyards. Much of the fresh produce found in BC restaurants is grown right here. Not to worry, there are plenty of fruit and veggie stands for you
