Fall in Love with the Skaha Lake
SOUTH OKANAGAN T
Painted Rock TopShelf By Darcy Nybo Kraze Legz
he South Okanagan is one of the most popular vacation and stay-cation spots in Canada. Over 300,000 travellers choose the South Okanagan as their destination each year. Countless others who live here plan mini-vacations whenever possible to explore this amazingly beautiful area. I personally love this part of the world; so much so I moved here and I have a hard time going anywhere else on holiday.

Once you’ve spent some time here, you’ll know why. It is 140 km from YLW to the southern-most tip of the Okanagan. Many visitors rent a car and start their explorations there, in the town of Osoyoos. It is advisable to make your trip stretch out over a few days in order to get the most out this Okanagan paradise. This way you can take your time meandering up the valley on your return trip.
