Take your treat outside and sit by the creek in the shade before you head off to explore the rest of the area.
Like the rest of the Okanagan, Okanagan Falls is home to award winning winer- ies. Tucked just off the highway and on the back road into Penticton are eleven wineries, all with their own distinctive Okanagan flavour. Pick up a passport at one of the participating wineries and get a stamp at every winery you visit, as with
10 stamps you are eligible to win a week- end for 2 at the elegant Bighorn Ridge Guest House. (

This area of the Okanagan isn’t just about golf and wine and food and nature, there’s also the Okanagan Falls Flea Market. It’s open seven days a week from April to October and is right off the highway. A sea of tents and merchandise await you to bargain hunt to your hearts
content. If you get hot and tired, the beach is literally a block away.
Now you know why the southern part of the south Okanagan is one of my favourite places to visit and enjoy. Beaches, lakes, hills, mountains, wineries, orchards, wildlife, art, music and culture are abundant here. It’s no wonder people fall in love with this area and never want to leave.
