we also took a moment to visit and remember all those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country, willingly or not, by visiting the Oklahoma City National Memorial—which even after all these years—still moves me to tears. From there we decided to gay it up a bit and headed to the gayborhood for a few

libations. Oklahoma City has a very close-knit gay community, an added bonus to this is the fact that all their gay bars are right next door to each other. For lushes like me, this makes getting kicked out of one bar really not that big of a deal, due to the fact that you can just stumble just a few feet right into more trouble. Now for those of you who really want to spice it up, there’s a friendly little place called the Habana Inn where for just about $35, you can rent a room for the night. The fun fact about Habana is that once the sun goes down, the fun totally heats up. I’ve never seen so much nakedness in one place! And poodles, that’s all I’m going to say about that! The rest of the weekend was very relaxing with really no major family upsets.

Oh, there was one incident... While my aunt was videoing the kids playing the piano. She unknowingly sat her arse right in front of Eric’s face and out of nowhere, he reached up and slapped her tush, telling her to plant it somewhere else! Way to introduce oneself to the family honey, especially the most reserved one. My mother laughed so hard she had to change her pants, if you know what I mean. Overall, the experience was a great one and now my family has a new son-in-law. So now that summer’s in full swing, I know a lot of you boys out there are eager

elcome aboard poodles! I’m coming to you this month high above Earth’s surface at 30,000 feet! Don’t worry, I’m not operating this aircraft, I’m riding as a passenger back to Hous- ton after an exhausting Memorial Day weekend. This year, I

decided that this weekend would be the perfect time to introduce my boyfriend to the family. For those of you who have followed me for some time now, you know I come

from a very traditional, Pentecostal background. Despite having dated three quarters of Orange and L.A. County, I’ve really never packed any of my men up to meet the folks. Times are changin’ and so are the Pentecostals—well my fam- ily anyway. They’re beginning to realize what’s important in life is family, not the legalistic church doctrine we were all raised by. With that said, Eric and I hopped a little Barbie Jet and flew up to Oklahoma City for the weekend. Now I know, those “fly-over states” aren’t probably on many of your radars, but

Oklahoma has got it goin’ on; well parts of it anyway. We flew into Oklahoma City where we spent the afternoon exploring the historic Bricktown Entertainment District. We hailed a water taxi and enjoyed cocktails, while experiencing the sights and sounds of the water canals. Being that it was Memorial Day weekend,

to celebrate Father’s Day! Can we say, “Daddies in the house!?” Be sure to celebrate the Daddies in your life, on your knees or heels to Jesus! For the rest of you guys, we’ve got some great events coming up in June. The first event that is very near and dear to my heart is the Pride that started it all for me, L.A. Pride! L.A. Pride hits West Hollywood Saturday and Sunday, June 8 through the 10. This year, L.A. Pride is thrilled to announce The Latino Carnival, the brand new Saturday and Sunday dance experience powered by Club Papi. I’m excited to see Alec Mapa and Jessica Sutta! Also, this year BP Major, the sexy little twink from America’s Got Talent who showed us all how to twist and twirl, will be working his talents on Sun- day, June 10 on the main stage! You can check out the entire lineup of performers and events for L.A. Pride online at lapride.org. See ya there! For those of you near Long Beach, Saturday, June 2 marks the 24th Annual

AIDS Walk Long Beach. There will be a 5k, pet walk, and a 5k walk. For more infor- mation on this fiercely fabulous event, visit aidswalklb.org. Finally, for all your motor heads out there, The Social Test Drive Expo hits the

home of Grand Prix of Long Beach. This event provides attendees the opportunity to test drive auto manufacturers newest vehicles. Guests at the SoCal Test drive Expo will begin and end their test drives indoors, buckling up in their choice of nearly 130 different cars and then driving outside onto a portion of the same seaside street course used for the Grand Prix of Long Beach! The show provides car shoppers with a unique opportunity to test drive multiple cars from competing brands under one roof in a sale free environment. Visit testdriveexpo.com for tickets. They’ll have plenty of sticks to shift, if ya know what I mean. Well my friends, we’ve come to the end of another episode of the Jizzy show! I

want to thank each and every one of you for your love and support over the past few years. Be sure to visit us online at ragemonthly.com for a complete list of events in and around the O.C./L.A. area. With that poodles! Next month, Laguna Beach here we come! For my favorite

holiday, the Fourth of July! I can’t wait to see all of you and your sexiness out on West Beach for a great time of weenie roasting and bun toasting!
