The main advantages of the SEIK cableways are the load can be lowered or lifted during the longitudinal motion of the carrier. Rollers at the cable supports can guide the main line. Simple operation and direct steering from the ground allow difficult lifting and lowering manoeuvres to be carried out safely and precisely. Compared to material
handling by helicopter the carrier can keep the load stable in any position for as long as necessary enabling work goes ahead without pressure of time. The cable crane can operate in rotational mode but it is capable of using gravity even in relatively flat terrain. The SFM20/40 sliding cable crane is the ideal solution for forestry.
