PK Performance Horse Sales

Searching the USA and Europe for quality horses at the best prices H

orse shopping can be a stressful and often risky experience, especially when looking for a horse in a specialist market. With many of the top horses in the western industry changing hands quickly by word of mouth, there is also a problem with accessibility and timeliness. This is where PK Performance Horse Sales can help. Working exclusively with studs and training establishments in the USA and across Europe, mother and daughter team Patricia and Chantal Kuhn aim to take the stress out of finding the perfect reining, cutting or western show horse.

The team is based out of a training facility in Southern Germany. Patricia works with selected USA-based agents in the reining, pleasure and cutting horse industries and, with over 25 years experience in the western horse industry, has a great gift for finding the right horse for the right person. ‘We love our job and like to think of ourselves as quick, honest and professional,’ says Patricia, ‘but overall, our reputation among the breeders and trainers we work with means we are able to secure the best prices. So, whatever your budget we should be able to help you.’

PK finds horses in all western sports and regularly advertise reining and western pleasure Futurity prospects, Derby horses, broodmares, breeding stallions, Non Pro show horses and youngsters on their website and Facebook page. ‘The horses we market must be fit, healthy, have quality, be good to ride and be vice free,’ explains Patricia. Patricia’s daughter Chantal (pictured right) trained with Jonathan Gauthier in the States and runs the training arm of PK Performance

Horses. ‘As we are also involved in training,’ says

Patricia, ‘we are able to see if a horse is going to be a good fit to a client and so far we have never had a problem with horse / rider compatibility. We also offer lessons so if you are a little nervous or want some help getting together with your new horse we can be with you every step of the way.’ The team’s industry connections also

mean that PK uses the most trustworthy vets and shipping companies, and estimate average import costs at around $5,000. ‘We work with three different shipping companies and fly horses to Amsterdam and Luxemburg,’ says Patricia. ‘We like to fly with our customer’s horses to see that everything goes smoothly so that the purchasing process is streamlined and stress free. ‘Our clients just have to choose their horse and we do everything else!’ For more information visit www.pk-performance-horses.com or the PK Performance Horse Sales Facebook page.

TESTIMONIALS LENA MYRNES, NORWAY

I had been looking for a reining horse for some time and found PK on the Facebook. They always had such nice horses for sale and I enjoyed just looking! One day there he was, JF Spooks Choice,

a small, quiet, talented and beautiful stud. Out of many horses

this was the horse Patricia recommended for me. PK also helped me with importing him and everything went so well. Thank you Patricia and Chantal Kuhn!

SARAH NOWAK, GERMANY I got in touch with the kind of horse I was looking for and was sent the details of an Einsteins Revolution daughter. I looked at the video and I had to admit I really liked her but I had a few concerns as she was located in the USA and I wouldn’t be travelling to see her in the flesh. Patricia, however, thought the mare would suit me and on her recommendation I purchased her. She is just perfect.
