HOTSY CLEANING SYSTEMS Stacey Lee

Hotsy Cleaning Systems, with its headquarters and production facilities in Edmonton, is proud to serve the oil and gas industry.

Offering upwards of 100 models of pressure washers, both hot and cold, there is an HCS product designed to meet every industrial need, says company rep Kathy Smith.

“When you have a tire bigger than you are to clean, you can (understand) how difficult it is to clean large industrial equipment. In order to clean something that huge you need to have both pressure and water… it all comes down to pounds per square inch and gallons per minute.”

Most mining and drilling applications are looking for machines that offer the most water flow coupled with high pressure, said Smith. Removing thick layers of oil and grease also require a heated unit, while powering away dirt in a farm yard can be

done effectively with a cold unit. “If there is anything with grease

or oil… you need hot to clean that," she said. "If you are going to disinfect a facility you need hot water… hot packs a more powerful punch says the physics of cleaning.”

Smith says that all hot water systems are equipped with “above average quality” heating coils. Also setting Hotsy washers apart from lower priced alternatives is durable construction. Each Hotsy frame is welded together, rather than bolted, and sold with a seven-year warranty.

“We have exceptional service, which is what we’ve built the business on," said Smith. "We have both mobile and in-house service, and if a machine goes down… wherever it is we will get someone out there right away.”

It is just one facet of the company which caters to the oil and gas sector. HCS also

stocks the largest inventory of pressure washer parts in North America.

“It goes hand in hand with the oil and gas industry because we focus on getting the part out to them the same day.”

Hotsy Cleaning Systems (Waterblast Manufacturing LP) ensure drillers, farmers, and miners that a washer can be built to meet their specific needs with little lead- time.

To ensure that dirty jobs are made easy, HCS also offers its customers a high quality, environmentally friendly cleaning product. Smith says the company is proud to offer a cleanser that works, doesn’t streak, doesn’t leave a film, and gets the job done the first time.
