Cypress Hydro-Vac Ltd, based in Dunmore, is proud to have been serving the oil and gas industries since 2004. Field Supervisor Ryan Lehr says the company’s ever-expanding portfolio is an example of the company’s commitment to providing both superior and expedient services throughout southern Alberta and Saskatchewan.
“We strive to maintain up-to-date equipment with the most effective… ways to do all types of line exposures and trenching," said Lehr. "We are SECOR certified. Our operators are well trained on the equipment. We strive to give the best quality job, done in the shortest amount of time, which in turn saves money and
headache for our customers.”
Lehr says all Cypress Hydro-Vac operators are certified and maintain all safety and oilfield tickets. Additionally the two tri-drive Hydro-Vac units have a carrying capacity of up to 2,100 gallons and easily handle high-volume debris suction with an eight-inch boom. For customers it means the units are capable of reducing down to a two-inch hose for deep hole water removal.
“We have a boiler equipped for all weather conditions. We expose all underground lines, clean water cisterns, trenching and pile holes, and high pressure washing,” explains Lehr. “We also have water trailers available to supply hydro-vac units with water.”
Cypress Hydro-Vac Ltd. also offers two 100- barrel water trucks to carry out the task of fighting fires on work sites.
“The trucks are fully equipped for dust control and fire watch prevention, with full front and rear spray bars, high pressure fire hoses, fire extinguishers, fire brooms and shovels.”
The barrels are also lined to facilitate delivery of potable water to any locate, regardless of how remote. Capable of meeting any need, the Cypress Hydro-Vac fleet includes a tractor-trailer (6,000 gallon capacity), one tri-trailer (3,000 gallon capacity) and water tankers to provide any operation additional on-site storage.
