H.A.L.O. HELICOPTER - Here for YOU!
H.A.L.O. fi rst launched in July 2007, bringing this vital service up to a milestone. On July 12, 2012 we will be celebrating 5 years in service and over 100 missions fl own.
One doesn’t have to look very far to fi nd someone locally that has been touched by this critical service. Mitchell Weibe of Medicine Hat has this to say about H.A.L.O.:
“I’m very lucky that this service was available as my accident took place a month after H.A.L.O. was in fl ight. My accident happened in a remote area. I was unable to move and a regular ambulance could not access me (nor was it) equipped to handle emergencies of this type. Without H.A.L.O being available my situation could have been much much worse. With time being your biggest enemy when an accident occurs; H.A.L.O is truly a life saving organization!”
