This is a picture of the Ambulance which Hornchurch and Upminster contributed £1,000 to for the Sylvia Wright Trust which is 30 years old this year. The money for the ambulance was raised by the clubs donation which kicked started the fund raising, followed by 3 Street doctor events at the hartswood hospital in Brentwood, along with donations from two other charity organisations. The cost of the ambulance was £18,000 and then needed to be fitted out with the necessary equip- ment the total price being around £23,000 The Hornchurch & Upminster Rotary club will have a sign on the Ambulance as one of the sponsors.


Past President John Crowder & Philippa are going to accompany Dr Sathanadan and his


Secretary Mrs Bernie Parker, Rotarian Chaaman Saginar, Dr Satish Kapoor, and Head of the op- erating theatre at the Harts- wwod Eileen.


The journey is to Leeds on the 22nd April to a special presentation to Sylvia Wright MBE for her 30 years of commitment to the trust that she started 30 years ago.
