Club visit 3-Mar-2012 Gant’s Hill Rotary Club Having a Ball at Gants Hill O
n Saturday the 3rd. of March, a large number of
club members and partners attended the President’s Ball at the Rotary Club of Gants Hill. Many of us are fairly regular visitors to this club, which holds it’s meetings in the large room above Kanchans Indian Restaurant, so we knew what to expect.
W
e took our places at the two reserved tables in the
brightly lit hall and waited expectantly for proceedings to begin. an array of fine Indian dishes for the main course.

pany and the very loud background music. It was perhaps a little too loud for some of our members but it al added to the occasion. The whole evening was very relaxed and there was much dancing (Bollywood style and you should see young Geggus strutting his stuff!) between courses and the few speeches.
ll of the members of our party were in high spirits and when
we finally left to wend our happy ways back to Upminster, many were vowing to come back another time.
