A LOCAL man appeared on BBC Television and helped to raise £5,666 for Sport Relief. Les Jeal had the enviable task

now lives in Maidstone but until recently lived in Townsend Road, Snodland, said: “The Crystals are quite a big part of the club these days and have appeared
on Sky sports show Soccer AM.” “What they wanted to do was
get a selection of fans, train them up on a dance routine and get those fans to perform with them on the pitch at half time. I ap- plied and got picked, as I know one or two of the Crystals girls. “We had to raise sponsorship
and we managed to get £5,666.” For anybody who is in the least
bit interested in the result, Palace beat Barnsley 1-0 in this NPower Championship match at Selhurst Park.
