Nestled between the spectacular Selkirk and Monashee Mountains is an alpine town like no other. Revelstoke is a great base for adventures, a gateway to National Parks and a four-season playground with beauty that will truly take your breath away. Te City of Revelstoke is rich in history, with numerous Victorian era heritage buildings from the 1800’s restored to their original splendour. Revelstoke is blessed with a number of wonderful RV parks for you to enjoy while exploring the area.
Enjoy incredible rock climbing, hiking, biking, climbing, kayaking, fishing, birding, hot springs and of course the acclaimed Revelstoke Golf Club course to test your game - it’s all in Revelstoke. You can also enjoy the free nightly entertainment downtown in Grizzly Plaza during July and August, or visit the Farmer’s
Market on Saturday mornings, from May through October. Quaint boutiques, casual coffee bars and fine restaurants are all within easy walking distance. From fly-fishing in alpine lakes to
deep-water trolling, Revelstoke offers a bounty of great fishing. Popular fishing spots include 220 km long Arrow Lakes and 130 km long man- made Lake Revelstoke teeming with Rainbow and Cutthroat trout, Dolly Varden, and Kokanee. Revelstoke has long been
considered the heli-skiing capital of the world and in winter Revelstoke is blessed with snow, lots of it. Set amid the majestic peaks of the Selkirk Mountains, the local ski resort is blessed with 40 to 60 feet of snow annually. Tis winter alpine wonderland
transforms itself into a summer playground for RVers of all ages.
Revelstoke Tourism
Bring your bikes and ride along the recently completed Frisby Ridge Trail. Designed by the Revelstoke Cycling Association to be enjoyed by riders of all skill levels, this 12.9 km ride (one way) will take you through sub-alpine forests, along breathtaking scenic vistas, and past stunning, wildflower-filled alpine meadows. Bring the camera because there are plenty of places to rest and take what could be the best photos of your vacation. Te Revelstoke Railway Museum is a ‘must see’ for the train aficionados in your party. Historical photos and artifacts start to tell the tale of the CPR’s part in British Columbia’s history, and walking through ‘Car 4’ will bring that history to life. And just west of Revelstoke is Craigellachie, where the ‘Last Spike’ was driven in, signalling the
