Established in 1965 by the Stayberg family, Penticton’s Midtown RV has more than 46 years of experience in the RV sales industry. During that time they’ve established a solid reputation as the premier Newmar (motorized and towables) dealer in the Okanagan Valley. Built on a foundation of excellent
customer service, top-notch repair and maintenance services, and a diverse in-stock offering of new and used luxury motorhomes, the company has continued to expand, and now serves all of Western Canada with new and used luxury motorhomes. To accommodate growth, the
company relocated in October 2003, to its present location at 310 Industrial Avenue. Midtown recently added 6000 sq.ſt of service bays, equipped with hoists that are able to handle 45-foot diesel units. Also featured, are a state-of-the-art showroom and a full-service parts and service centre. In addition, the
dealership offers a little something extra - something that makes the company unique in its field: they offer full-service guest camping spots for customers to use while their vehicles are being serviced. Kalvin Stayberg, VP at Midtown
RV, explains that Midtown RV specializes in Newmar motorhomes and airstream trailers. “We are Western Canada’s largest Newmar dealer. We focus on customer service. Since the inception of the Customer Service Award (Newmar Award) in 2003, we’ve won it every year to present day. Newmar surveys its customers aſter they’ve come in for servicing or warranty work. And in order to qualify for the award, you must score a 90+ rating. We’ve managed to do just that.” Sales Professional, Randy Rudnyk,
says that, Newmar - in business for more than 40 years, is an Amish- owned company that holds no debt (zero debt). “Tis makes them extremely desirable, because it
means that they are in the best shape financially - there is no concern that they are going out of business. Tey are a company that is going to be around in the future, and will be there for their customers and continue to offer parts and service.” Randy explains that Newmar’s
fit and finish is second to none. For example, all cabinetry is hand made. “A Newmar motorhome is truly a four-season coach; it has the highest ‘R-Factor’ in the industry (R-factor refers to the insulation, which is found in the floors, walls and in ceilings). Not only can you travel south to the warmer areas in North America, but you can work and live out of your Newmar comfortably in the frigid northern climates.” “Newmar was the inventor of
the ‘slide-out’,” Randy says, “Tey were the first ever. Teir slide-out is patented to this day. And with their design being the best available slide- out on the market, it means that no one is able to copy their innovation.”
