Hipol to be the Artistic Director of STAR 2012. It is an impor- tant STAR milestone because Ms. Katie was a “STAR kid” when she was 10 years old. In 2008 she became a STAR Leader and in 2010 she was STAR Production Director for Pirates of Penzance Jr. and 2011's Oliver! In addition to STAR, she has performed on the Gavilan stage as Rosalind in "As You Like It" and has received experience and training as an actor at El Teatro Campesino in San Juan Bautista, where she has acted in such plays as Zoot Suit and La Pastorela: a Shephard's Play.
