Thousands of folks will gather in down- town San Juan Bautista to enjoy the annu- al Fine Arts and Quality Crafts celebra- tion over the weekend of April 14 and 15. Festival goers can shop, browse and feast while enjoying the historic charm of old San Juan. Their energetic stage performance always leaves a memorable musical impression for all festival goers. •
The San Benito County Arts Council
hosts the annual Open Studios Art Tour every spring throughout San Benito County, offering the public the chance to visit local artists’ studios and see how the art is created, and maybe even buy some- thing. This year’s tour, on April 28 and 29, highlights the work of artists in Hollister, San Juan Bautista and Aromas, including

the Cactus and Succulent Show on April 28 and 29. The show takes place in the courtyard of Jardines de San Juan Restaurant, 115 3rd Street, from 9am to 5pm. Admission to the annual event is free. Come into the garden and get acquainted with these wonderful, drought resistant succulents. The show is spon- sored by the Cactus and Succulent Society of the Monterey Bay Area. •
