BHS YORKSHIRE Diary Dates BHS YORKSHIRE REGIONAL NEWS

February saw the Yorkshire Region play host to our very own Worming Road Show. Some of our members said that they would like advice on worming. With so many different ones available on the market it can be tricky knowing which one to use, when and how to use them correctly. BHS along with Virbac Animal Health travelled around the region giving talks to horse owners on the complicated subject. The last one will be held in East Yorkshire on Wednesday 7 March 2012.

Another tricky subject for the horse owner can be nutrition. Again with so much choice available it can become mind boggling. What to feed and how much to feed depending

on the horse and the work it does. That’s why BHS Yorkshire and Spillers Horse Feeds have teamed up! Throughout April 2012, we will be out and about in the region with Isabel from Spillers and her weighbridge. We will be travelling to yards, both large and small to give advice to all horse owners. Come along, have your horse weighed and then speak with a registered nutritionist on what is best for your horse. Please keep checking our Facebook page - The British Horse Society – Yorkshire Region for further details, dates and venues.
