He is the founder of Suave House Records, discovered the artist Rick Ross, helped Cash Money to secure their deal with Universal and did all of this while being independent.

To have him associated with my music was almost unbelievable to me. After Draper came aboard the team, we went right into the studio. He didn‘t waste any time and brought on producer Sean Blaze and RL from the group Next. During that studio session, we made a record, but I could tell by Draper‘s response that it wasn‘t what he was looking for sound wise.

This misstep led to my final test with Draper to see if we could continue this journey that is now Kid Named Breezy. He sent me to Atlanta, GA to work with ATL producer Jigg. After arriving in Atlanta, Jigg and myself recorded four records in two days. As soon as the songs were finished we sent them off to Draper, he responded back „The Kid got something“.

Three of the songs we made are now on my mixtape, Snap Back With A Life Full. One of the records we did in Atlanta was ‚See About Us‘ featuring Pusha T. When we did the record, I had no idea that Pusha was even going to be on it. After I recorded it, Draper told me he was going to find a feature for the song. I was completely surprised when Pusha T text me telling me he loved the record and he was in fact going to be my celebrity feature. Having that backing from Draper and Pusha T inspired me to use my words to make a difference in the music industry. After those four records, Jigg was sent to live with me in McLean, VA. We built a home studio for us to finish my mixtape. Some days we went without sleeping, trying to perfect just one song. I credit that to why my tape has such a professional sound.

We dropped my mixtape, Snap Back With A Life Full, on December 5th 2011. Within the week media outlets were hitting me up for interviews and my songs were featured on national hip hop blogs. I was contacted to be a Brand Ambassador for the charity Will Rap 4 Food, which helps underprivileged families and local food banks. On January 6th 2012, my song with Pusha T was featured on AllHipHop.com as the ‚Heater of the Day‘.
