We try to connect personally with fans at our show venues for sure and we keep a careful eye on our website and different platforms: reverbnation, my space, facebook among others. Is not what we do, but what or who we are. We believe our music is nourished by what we are, we are four very different individuals and our music is a good mix of the four of us, we being South Americans, Argentinians in particular sons of an “immigrant generation”, immerse in the latinamerican reality, passionate, impulsive, rebellious characters expressing through rock and roll written in different language that their own mother tongue.(Local bands either cover songs or play in Spanish, we try to stick to an international standard). Our roots are Italian, Spanish, French, Irish…but we´ve been born and raised in the southern hemisphere. Our singer, lives half a year in Europe, travelling is very involved and important in the song writing process.
About what do we do to stand out: we try to write the best songs we can write, better songs than the ones written, give better shows, play better. Polish and refine production and post production. Explore, experiment and grow. Get better in what we do, that ´s all we can do, that´s within our reach, what´s up to the rest it´s the “rest´s” business. We stick to our thing.
We are maximizing our exposure through our shows, selling records and the Internet. Getting more radio exposure, and keep on searching and aiming for better and more serious internet platforms that eventually might get us linked to the right people. We are very diligently answering to every request and input as a result of our current internet exposure/promotion.
We create our music because we need it, but mainly, listeners, readers, viewers give sense to the existence of our art.
Some of our highlights have been being played on the radio of course, just feels great to hear your band on the radio for the first time. The song you happen to write in your room mixed with the ones from the artists you love and worship. First time it happened, we could not believe it, we were jumping all over the place and screaming and throwing our fists in every direction. Came to our mind, when at the “beach boys” movie, they heard themselves on the radio for the first time, while driving the car and the guys could not believe it, neither could we. It feels great, just awesome and it´s among the things that only happen once.
Another highlight had been playing some acoustic sets at the radio. Just getting a call and being asked whether we´d do it, we were totally on and had a couple of days to get the songs will play ready. We believe doesn´t get more real than that: playing your songs acoustically and live at the radio. All of a sudden, the guy behind the glass gestures you are on, and on you are, nothing you can fake, nothing you can edit, or just go for another take. You just play your raw song and listeners listen, very pure thing, that´s it. Among other things felt great to be invited to play some shows along with other band, at these bigger places which are known to be kind of the local´s scene rock “mekka”, just feels great to say you´d play a show there, and feels that you are growing and moving forward. We got hired to play some sort of a side act, before a big electronic party (rave style) at one of the fanciest spots at the outside of the city.
The money was not great but we agreed that might be good to play for a different sort of audience, so we said yes. The guy who hired us had to fix the deal with the sound guy at the countryside and to save a couple of bucks, had to drive 150 miles, to give the guy and his equipment a ride to the venue.
