CAE 3000 SERIES HELICOPTER FLIGHT & MISSION SIMULATORS
The new CAE 3000 Series fullflight simulators (FFS) offer unprecedented realism for immersive, helicopterspecific mission training, including offshore, emergency medical services, law enforcement, highaltitude, corporate, and other operations.
Simulation improves safety by enhancing pilot proficiency and eliminating risks of training by enabling exposure to events not suitable to train in the air craft. Training in a CAE 3000 Series helicopter simulator costs less than training in a turbinepowered helicopter, extends the service availability of aircraft fleets, and frees up aircraft for revenuegenerating operations. In 2012, the new joint venture of CAE and Líder Aviação will deploy the first
fullmotion Level D CAE 3000 Series FFS, a Sikorsky S76C, in São Paulo, Brazil. The first CAE 3000 Series Level D FFS in Asia, also an S76C++, will be deployed in 2012 at the Zhuhai Flight Training Centre, a CAEChina Southern Airlines JV. With these additions, CAE’s global civil helicopter training network will offer 17 simulators at 11 locations in China, India, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and North America.
