Stress and Holistic Healing S
tress weakens the body and opens the door to illness and disease. And the truth is, we find ourselves in stressful sit- uations all day long, every day. When you experience stress, your
body produces adrenaline and cortisol, the “stress hormones.” These hormones lower your immune system and elevate blood fat and blood sugar levels. They can bathe your tissues for up to 48 hours after one stressful event. Our bodies could probably deal with one experience, but with those arising one right after another, your body becomes vulnerable to disease. The longer you are stressed out, the more vulnerable. All disease is caused by imbalances. Stress is not the cause of disease, but it opens the door to disease by tearing down the body s defenses. Holistic Practitioner, Ginny Vasquez can find these imbal- ances through the use of muscle testing, and balance them so your body begins to heal itself, as God designed it to do. She will also work to find out why you felt stressed out in the first place and to eliminate that, too. To learn about The Body Code, attend a class at Center-
Point, 1920 Hollister Road on Saturday the 4th or 18th, 10 a.m. or Tuesday, the 7th or 21st, 7 p.m. For more information, please contact Ginny Vasquez at 281-954-8844, or email
holistichealing@sbcglobal.net. See ad page26.
