'Home for Good' Built in Bridgeland's Lakeland Heights

construction of a Greater Houston Builders Association (GHBA) Benefit Home. This year, Bridgeland donated a lot in Lakeland Heights, where David Weekley Homes recently completed its Bernard Plan.

B Lakeland Heights

Lakeland Heights is a walkable, Tr aditional Neighborhood Development (TND) where Main

ridgeland, an 11,400 acre community has, for the third year, donated a homesite for

Street-style housing blends with shops, parks, restaurants and services. It is a small town with a village center and room for 350 homes.

It is modeled after the classic Houston neighborhoods such as The Heights, Southampton, Southside Place and West University Place.

David Weekley Homes is the builder for Lakeland Heights and many of the homes face the waterway or a neighborhood park. Lakeland Heights incorporates the Craftsman, English Tudor, Classical and French housing

styles found in those neighborhoods to heighten curb appeal, and homes will look as though they have evolved over time.

The small town feel inspires a close- knit, 'front porch friendly' atmosphere. Friendships begin at the sidewalk café and continue along the scenic waterway trails to the village parks. Kids race home from school to the aquatic center or the playground. The schools, Lakeland Activity Center and a Village Center, which will be built soon, are all within walking distance.
