The American Council on Exercise (ACE), one of America’s leading authorities on fitness certifica- tion, has announced that the Maryland-based Merritt Athletic Clubs have pledged 43,200 hours of fitness training services in support of Joining Forces, a comprehensive national initiative that supports military families in education, employment, and wellness. “On behalf of the President’s Council on Fitness,


Sports, and Nutrition (PCFSN), and ACE, I’d like to thank Merritt Athletic Clubs for pledging over 43,000 hours to Joining Forces,” says Dominque Dawes, Olympic gold medalist and co-chair of PCFSN. “The Council is grateful for their support.
