Modern Dance Masterclass with Paul Taylor Dance Company Dubbed the “naughty boy of dance,” Paul Taylor is the last living member of the pantheon that created American modern dance, acclaimed for his vibrant, relevant, powerful work. In this masterclass, a senior company member of the PTDC teaches essentials of technique and Taylor style.

Creating Work through Improvisation with Everett Dance Theatre Known for their original mix of dance and theater, unique integration of props and dance, and cross-disciplinary work, members of Everett Dance Theatre share some of the techniques and exercises they use to create their collaborative work. Students learn to generate movement and text, and edit material, gaining tools to help them create new work and new insights into the creative process.
