7 I celebrated


with children and staff at the Owl and the Pussy Cat Children's nursery in the constituency. The campaign


encourages children to drink milk and aims to educate them about it's benefits. Calcium is a hugely important part of a healthly diet and thanks should be given to Cool Milk who are campaigning in the UK on this issue I was delighted


to be designated "Honorary Milk Monitor" at my visit. Thanks to the staff and children for their warm welcome.


Last month saw the Hindu festival of Diwali, the "Festival of Lights", commence. I attended the


Dusherra Celebrations which form part of the festival. It took place on Arthur's Seat where these fantastic effigies were erected which were created by the Scottish Indian Arts Forum (SIAF). My thanks to
