I was delighted to support
Breakthrough Breast Cancer's
campaign. A survey recently undertaken by the charity showed
that only half of women in Scotland regularly check themselves. That is why the charity are encouraging women to Touch, Look and Check regularly. An early diagnosis of

The is the largest
global effort to end violence against women. It encourages men to do educational
work in schools, workplaces and communities to change attitudes which can condone violence against women. I met with campaigners in Parliament to
discuss the group's vital work. Particularly in times of economic hardship, relationships are put under pressure and it's therefore important to protect services which ease those worries therefore often preventing violence. White Ribbon are spearheading this campaign and they should be applauded. For further info, visit there website
