A full programme of half-term activities is in prospect at Woodlands Farm. These include trails around the farm, drawing animals and foraging for food.


The sessions, which are mostly free and drop- in, run from Tuesday October 25 to Friday 28. On the Wednesday, there will be a fungal foray around the farm’s woodlands and on Thursday, making monsters from recycled materials.


Friday’s theme will be creepy crawlies and bats. There will be free bug-themed walks and activities at 10.30am, 12noon and 2pm; booking is essential for a bat talk and walk, starting at 4.45pm.
