Nature Club The
plants, trees and fungi of Oxleas Woods will be the
venue for October’s meeting of Eltham Nature Club.
There will be an expert-led walk through the ancient woods on Sunday October 16.
The walk, which is open to members and non-members (price £1.50 and £3) will start at 2pm at the Oxleas Woods café and last for around two hours.

Masked Ball
charity masked ball is to be held at the Tudor Barn, Well Hall
Road, on Friday October 21.
The event is being staged on behalf of the Multiple Sclerosis Society in Greenwich and the Lion Ward at King’s College hospital.

Tickets will be £30 and the evening will include a hot buff et, jazz band Espree, dancing to a DJ, raffl e and an auction.
Prizes for the raffl e include
top prizes of a chauff eur driven outing to London by Rolls
Royce, M&S hamper and champagne; the auction will include tea for two at the Ritz, mountain bike and many others.
