A group of kind-hearted schoolchildren from Barlborough Hall School, Derbyshire strengthened their relationship with Mukumbi School in Zimbabwe by creating friendship bands. Inspired by the schools’ colours, they each bought two, one they kept and the other they sent out to be worn by their friends in Makumbi. Barlborough has been linked with Makumbi since 2003 as part of the Jesuit Missions’ Companions.
