Santa Rosa, CA – The Santa Rosa Young Professionals Network (YPN), a division of the Santa Rosa Chamber of Commerce, recently announced the appointment of Echo Wright to their vol- unteer Advisory Board. YPN is a professional develop- ment organization designed to engage and introduce young professionals to the Santa Rosa region’s vast resourc- es, by offering networking, educational and professional development opportunities, including gaining access to prominent industry leaders and equally ambitious peers. As the premier organization of its kind in the region, Santa Rosa’s Young Professionals Network helps members get involved in the regional busi- ness scene to impact the cur- rent and future marketplace. Echo Wright has been the Director of Leadership Giving for United Way of the Wine Country since 2008 and has been appointed to fill a three- year term on YPN’s Advisory Board. “Having seen the group of professionals that YPN has brought together for network- ing, education, and growth opportunities, I’m honored to join the Advisory Board,” said Wright. “We look forward to the expertise Echo can to lend to our organization, as YPN continues to grow and improve upon our programs,” added Michael Cook, YPN’s 2011 Board Chair. Santa Rosa, CA – The Santa Rosa Junior College Culinary Café and Bakery opened for fall semester on Wednesday August 31 and they just received ABC approval to serve wine once a week! They are offering one white and one red from one win- ery each Wednesday. Come expe- rience future chefs in action as they cook up and serve seasonal salads, soups, sandwiches, pizzas, entrees and desserts Wednesday - Fridays 11:30AM - 2:00PM. Reservations are not required, but you can make them (some days are VERY BUSY) by call- ing 707-576-0279. A private din-
ing room is available for group luncheons and meetings of up to 36 people. The SRJC Bakery fea- tures freshly baked pastries and award winning breads made by students in the school's Baking and Pastry Program. Breads, pastries and desserts (that change daily) to take home can be purchased from 7:30AM until 2:00PM Wednesday-Friday. This is the final semester for the SRJC Culinary Café and Bakery at the Brickyard! The new Burdo Culinary Arts Center is currently under construction across from the main campus. It will be open January 2012.
