in Santa Rosa. The beauty of this wonderful place we live just brings out an inspiration to duplicate it’s goodness on paper or canvas. I took art all the way through Cook Junior High and Piner High school. Art was the highlight of my growing up years. Instead of going to Art school for college, my father wanted me to go to school to be a dental assistant. And in those times, a girl lis- tened to her father…so I did what he said. Although that is

a wonderful career, it wasn’t right for me. I spent years working as a dental assistant, administrative assistant, legal assistant, appointment sched- uler. It was not satisfying… I was unfulfilled. But…now I am painting on a regular basis while working in my husband’s website business (working with graphic art). I have shown my art at the National Arts Program held annually by the City of Santa Rosa, The Journey Center, Louie’s Coffee, the Harvest Fair and of course, the Sonoma County Fair. I believe that we were born

to create! I believe that if we embrace our creative identity, we will soar in freedom and creativity! Let’s fly!!!

The doctor answered the phone and heard the familiar voice of a colleague on the other end of the line. “We need a fourth for poker,” said the friend. “I’ll be right over,” whispered the doctor. As he was putting on his coat, his wife asked, “Is it serious?” “Oh yes, quite serious,” said the doctor gravely. “In fact, there are three doctors there already!”
