You’ll start your voyage from Auckland on the shores of Waitemata Harbour, with time to enjoy New Zealand’s biggest city before driving south to the geysers and thermal pools of Rotorua, a region steeped in Maori culture. Stay by the shores of Lake Taupo, overlooking a breathtaking volcanic landscape, then move on to Hawke’s Bay by the Pacifi c Ocean. Here you can explore New Zealand’s oldest wine growing country and the charming Art Deco town of Napier before arriving in the bustling capital Wellington.
Cross the Cook’s Strait to the South Island, making your way down to Christchurch and onto the foothills of towering Mount Cook. Further south in Queenstown, New Zealand’s adventure capital, there’s trekking, rafting, boating and high octane thrills galore, all among the jawdropping panoramas of the Southern Alps.
You’ll also have the chance to take a magnifi cent scenic fl ight above the lakes, glaciers, and mountains of Fjordland National Park, followed by a cruise on Milford Sound out to the wide Tasman Sea.
