Private Journeys

All of our tours are taken as private journeys, that is to say just you and a local guide and/or driver. The beauty of tailor-made travel is that each journey is tailored to your own specific requirements according to your preferred departure date, length of stay and choice of accommodation. As you will not be travelling on a set itinerary as part of a group, should you have a particular interest such as architecture or history we will be able to enhance your itinerary further as you wish.

Our Representatives

On arrival at each destination, you will be met at the airport, railway station or quayside by a local Emirates Tours representative who will accompany you to your hotel, assist with your luggage and confirm your itinerary. Your representative is there to assist you with any request that you have throughout your holiday and will provide you with their contact details should you need to get in touch during your stay.

Private Guides

One of the most luxurious benefits of a private tour is having your own English speaking guide to accompany you on all sightseeing excursions. All of our guides are chosen for their experience, local knowledge and professionalism and will be on hand to answer any question that you may have. Should you have a specific interest then please let your guide know, as they may be able to tailor your excursion to suit.

Transportation

Our private journeys include road transportation by private car with an English speaking driver allowing you to travel in privacy and comfort and giving you the flexibility to stop off along the way for a photo opportunity or to stretch your legs. In instances where a large amount of distance is covered, air or rail travel is included. In South Africa, Australia and New Zealand self-drive is a practical and fun way to explore the country and gives you even more flexibility to travel at your own pace.

Flexible Accommodation

We have specifically chosen the accommodation in our itineraries to ensure your experience is one of luxury and refinement. If you have a preferred choice that is not featured in our brochure or on our website please let us know at time of booking and we will do our utmost to fulfill your request. This may not be possible for parts of your journey such as cruising, where we have carefully selected our partners to ensure your enjoyment as well as safety.

Stopover in Dubai

Every tailor-made itinerary includes return flights with Emirates, giving you the perfect opportunity to experience lavish Arabian hospitality with a stopover in Dubai. Relax as you lie next to the shimmering waters of the Gulf, try your hand bartering in the gold souk or view the wildlife of the desert from the pool of your villa to round off the perfect adventure. Turn to Dubai & the Emirates (pages 10 – 39) for our portfolio of luxury hotels.
