Madine goes green .. and so do we!
We view this issue very seriously and sanctions will be taken by organisers, and a fi ne issued by local authorities if anyone fails to comply with the follow- ing:
●Glass beer bottles are now banned and it is forbidden to bring them onto the complex: This means the whole of Madine and its grounds; from the point of entering the site to anywhere around the lake.
●Other types of bottle may be toler- ated, but must be disposed of correctly.
●In addition, Madine is introducing selective rubbish collection. Competitors will be issued with differ-
ent coloured bags and a rubbish memo card to help them in their task. . At the end of the event it is the com-
petitors’ responsibility to bring ALL of their rubbish to the collection point.
●Each swim will be photographed by the marshals at the end of the event: Please ensure that it is left in pristine condition, you will be held accountable if not.
●If competitors leave rubbish behind in their swim, a WCC sanction will be ap- plied to ban offending competitors from all future events
Recording a catch
●Each fi sh must be witnessed by at least two marshals or by one marshal and one competitor other than, the captor, his Team Member, Team Runner or Team Helper.

The following is a small selection

Team Runner
●A pair will face disqualifi cation if their Team Runner is found helping with the fi shing in any way, including landing a fi sh, baiting (including the making of boilies), setting up rods, using bait boats etc.
●Team Runners are allowed to go on board to assist solely with the steering of the boat.
●The Team Helper can only bivvy with, and run errands for the pair.
●Team Helpers are not allowed to help in any way with the fi shing or with the steering of the boat.
●Only the Team Runner can help with the steering of the boat.
Procedure to
photograph a catch ●Offi cial photos are to be taken by the Marshals on their mobile and relayed to HQ immediately.
●Three photos are required to display: the angler and fi sh with peg board in view - competitors signed catch log
deeper than this could be disqualifi ed from the competition.
●Anyone found to be en- croaching upon others water could be disqualifi ed.
●The Head Marshal’s decision will be fi nal on all
card - the Marshals log card.
●Marshals to wait for a return text from HQ to acknowledge receipt of all photos before authorizing the fi sh to be released.
●All fi sh to be returned to the water in the presence of the Marshal andonly after authorisation.
●As part of the procedure, several other shots may have to be taken, so please allow offi cial photographers to carry out their requirements without hindrance.
●Competitors, Team Runners and oth- ers are only then welcome to take their own photos.
Ile Du Bois Gérard
(The big Island) ●There will be only three daily crossings between the mainland and the island of Bois Gérard. On each crossing, priority boarding will be given in the following order: to offi cials, accredited media and only then to competitors and other team members.
●It will be the competitor’s/team member’s sole responsibility to ensure they do not miss the return crossing, especially the fi nal daily crossing as no other crossings will be organised.
