prepare for some fun Carp Connections, the Team Title
A
sponsor, are one of the major carp holiday specialists in Europe and have top notch lakes throughout its portfolio. With most of its French venues
boasting 30kg fi sh, there are also guided trips with accommodation and tackle provided in Italy and Spain (Orellana, Sierra Brava and Ebro Caspe). In these venues there are certainly fi sh of much greater proportions than 30kg and, although it cannot be guaranteed, a new world record is always a possibility! CC’s manager, Hans Sissingh, has
been with the WCC as a sponsor and ticket agent for Benelux and Germany since the start, here at Madine. His lake, the 100 acre record
breaker, Lac de Villedon, is one of the best managed lakes in France holding an enormous stock of carp with more 30’s, 40’s and 50’s than any comparable sized lake in Europe. It is not uncommon to catch very
big carp at Lac de Villedon, and most anglers who visit will catch at least one 20kg carp! It is for this very reason that Carp Connections will offer all competitors of this year’s WCC a catch guarantee for those who fi sh the lake for one week non-stop. No fi sh = free re-run ticket* This year, Carp Connections are
providing each of the fi rst three teams with a weeklong holiday. The whole team, consisting of six anglers, will win a trip to Fishing resorts Du Der, which is 100 acres in size, over 4 lakes. The venue boasts an incredible stock of fi sh, with 1,500 carp all over 20lbs+ which are pyramid stocked and there are several mirrors and one common over 50 lbs. The prize sponsor for the Gladiator
games is JRC, SHAKESPEARE and BERKELY GULP
