After 12 years of successfully running the World Carp Classic it is with great pride that we are launching the fi rst ever World Catfi sh tournament. Spain has won the right to host


the event and the magnifi cent River Ebro will be the venue. The event will be based in the


Chiprana section of the river which is well known for both its high numbers and size of Catfi sh. The event’s title sponsor will be Berkley who are part of the Pure fi shing


group.The event will be catch and release with best practice angling and fi sh welfare being observed at all times. The very best Catfi sh


anglers from all over the world will be competing to make history and be the fi rst to have their names on the tremendous perpetual trophy and a share of the £35,000 prize table.
