Did the trial court err in granting summary judgment to the defendant landlord where plaintiff was rendered a paraplegic as a result of a stabbing at the landlord’s tenant’s premises, Rhythms Night Club? Is the landlord defendant liable to plaintiff for any judgment that may be obtained against the tenant, Rhythms Night Club, because of the landlord’s failure to enforce the lease provision requiring the tenant to have liability insurance?
Did the trial court err in dismissing plaintiffs’ complaint alleging negligence, defamation, false light, and tortious interference when, without investigation, it erroneously broadcasted as an “investigative report” a widow’s allega- tions that March Funeral Homes West, Inc. dropped her husband’s casket when being buried?
Did the trial court err in granting the claimant summary judgment when the employer and insurer appealed the Commission’s Order finding accidental injury for a claim- ant who injured her back while lifting a box at work?
Did the trial court err in failing to instruct the jury that driving on the wrong side of the roadway is negligence, and in giving the jury the instruction that “the mere hap- pening of an accident is not evidence of negligence” when the undisputed evidence revealed that the collision occurred because defendant drove on the wrong side of the road- way?
Did the trial court err in dismissing the action ruling that defendant’s contacts with Maryland were insufficient for personal jurisdiction under the Long Arm Statute even though defendant’s practice was located less than 5 miles from the Maryland line, a significant percentage of defendant’s patients lived and/or worked in Maryland, and defendant advertised for business in the Yellow Page Direc- tories in Maryland?
Did the trial court err in granting summary judgment for the defendant on the basis that the condition that caused the plaintiff’s injury was “open and obvious”?
Did the trial court err in barring plaintiff’s counsel from cross-examining defendant’s expert witness about income derived from IME’s and his relationship to particular in- surance companies and defense attorneys?
